Overview

The NPL requirement is a thermal cycle chamber for rapid increasing or decreasing temperature inside the chamber over a range of -70°C to 180°C with a minimum 10 °C/minute change rate. The purpose is to evaluate mechanical reliability of electronic circuits. The NPL requirement is to test thermo-mechanical reliability of electronic circuits by subjecting them to regular thermal excursions across an extended operational range. The tests we will run will be used by most electricals with high reliability and electrical system manufacturers for their type approval testing.
