Overview
ScriptSwitch is a medicines decision support system integrated with GP clinical systems. Embedded within the prescribing workflow and integrated with the patient record, it aims to provide actionable information and guidance to reduce risk, improve outcomes and reduce prescribing costs. This is a national contract by NSS for the software on behalf of the 14 regional NHS Boards. The software services a patient list size of ~5.8m patients and delivered over 7m GBP of prescribing savings in 2023-24.
