This specification/pre-construction information is for the design, supply and installation of a new footbridge over the River Brue in West Lydford, Mendip. The footbridge links public footpath SM 14/22 to public bridleway SM 14/12 in the Parish of Lydford-on-Fosse. The footpath forms part of a wider network of very popular paths. The old bridge was collapsing and has been demolished and removed from site. Bank stabilisation has been been installed in the form of rock roll toe on top of the bottom courses of the old abutments and CoCoBN erosion control matting.
