The agency is looking to purchase a QPCR machine which has a 96 well plate format, it must be able to run 20 ul and 50 ul reaction volumes. It must have 5 colour filters for multiplexing an LED light source. The equipment must be self-diagnostics for identifying faults and able to be networked to the institutes IT system. The equipment must have a footprint no deeper than 54cm to fit onto a bench. It must also have an integrated touchscreen, the ability to store data from a few runs and allow use of researcher defined reagents and thermoprofiles and protocol editing. The machine must also allow analysis of data by Second Derivative Max and Fit Points method and be compliant for audit trail…
