Purchase of Replacement Ring Main Unit

The Ring Main Unit protecting the cable to the Blewstar substation transformer is now of an age and condition that is considered unsafe to operate; therefore, this project is to replace it entirely with a new ring main unit of the same size and capacity to protect the Blewstar substation transformer. In addition, the high voltage cable feed to the substation has several joints that must be reduced under this project.
