Overview
Natural England intend to create a framework contract so that we have all the services required for peat bog restoration in one place and to also help streamline the contract award process. Specific Purchases under the stated framework lots will be made on an ad hoc basis as the opportunity arises over the next 4 years. Purchases will cover Tree/Scrub Removal, Peat Restoration activities, Surveys, Analysis and Health & Safety Design/Supervision. 50 % or more of the expenditure committed via this framework will be made by Natural England, however we expect the Ministry of Defense, the Forestry Commission, the Environment Agency and other members of the DEFRA family such as Core Defra, The…
