Overview
Thurrock Council wishes to commission and redesign existing services to create a new Integrated Healthy Families Service in Thurrock as part of the Integrated 0-19 Wellbeing model. The new model will move beyond traditional service delivery and provide a more focussed and targeted approach to improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people. By promoting early intervention there is also aspiration to reduce further demand on children’s social care and tackle some of the key determinants of inter-generational deprivation, such as educational under-attainment.
