Overview
The main purpose of the appointment is to establish a Contract with a Consultant, on a call-off basis, so the Consultant will be called in to undertake planning enforcement work, as and when required, on behalf of OPDC. The Consultant will provide an arms-length service that can respond to changing demand in workload and priorities. The Consultant will need to work under instruction of the Head of Development Management, or other authorised officers, to investigate alleged breaches of planning control, including site visits, and make recommendations to OPDC for further action, where appropriate.
