Overview
The Guinness Partnership ("Guinness") is intending to conduct a tender later this year to appoint a consultant to provide Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) consultancy. This will primarily be for the provision of routine Type 1 & 3 FRAs for all of our relevant stock, although we are also considering the inclusion of Type 4 surveys. Suppliers in this sphere will be well aware of the current importance of fire safety within the housing sector and although not a core part of the service, there is potential for the appointed consultant to be involved in broader conversations around fire safety issues in construction and reviews of the fire strategy for new development proposals.
