Overview

The appointment contractors to undertake works to create an Open Mosaic Habitat on the East Marsh, at Hackney Marshes. The East Marsh was developed as part of the 2012 Olympics, a small area of the car park was retained with the intention of it being used for parking to serve the football pitches once the site was returned to grass land. Despite the site obtaining planning permission to remain as a car park the subsequent PINS application was refused therefore the hard standing must now be returned to park land.
