Overview

As part of a wider strategy to build a future operating state, Benefit Payments Services (VMER Services) require optimisation of their current digital services to align with DWP Cloud First objectives. The BPS estate hosts the VMER applications and is built using Cobol with the use of Ansible to build the current Cloud Platform. The scope of this service optimisation is based on an existing AWS Cloud Platform and will include build, design and release, aligning with GDS digital principles (Discovery/Alpha/Beta)
