Overview
To supply, install, maintain, remove and store street and tree lights for the Christmas Season in the town of Saffron Walden. Lights to be at least current specification or better, further details to be provided at a site meeting to be arranged. Contractors must comply with Section 178 of the Highways Act 1980 and Essex County County Seasonal Decorations regulations. http://www.essexhighways.org/uploads/files/lighting-column-decoration-check-list-2.pdf Contractors to provide all required documents to the above and to obtain necessary permissions. Lights to be installed after Remembrance Sunday and removed 1st week of January (Light Switch on date 1st Friday of December)
