Following the launch of NHS DPP on 22.3.2016 NHS England is seeking to explore the feasibility of using a digital delivery channel to support at risk individuals to reduce their risk of Type 2 diabetes. Following this feasibility phase NHS England may choose to take forward a procurement. A digital prevention programme would be separate from the current NHS DPP procurement which is based on the current evidence base for face to face interventions.
