A key objective of the service will be to support the Local Authority and Leeds CCG in reaching out to young carers and their families to prevent young carers from remaining hidden in local communities; reduce levels of inappropriate caring; and ensure young carers have voice and influence. Purpose and Level of Service The main purpose of the service is to provide specialist information, advice and support for young carers, families and practitioners to improve the wellbeing of young carers. The service will work collaboratively with the Local Authority to support the early identification and timely assessment of young carers and ensure appropriate support is put in place
