SSE are seeking to partner with an MRO Provider with a view to elevating and transforming the maturity of the category to Best in Class. Currently there is no centralized approach to the purchasing of MRO Consumables which has led to the following situation: • 855 MRO suppliers • £22m approx. annual spend • 11.5k annual PO’s This results in lack of transparent spend data, poor pricing visibility, lack of control and supplier performance management. SSE seeks to appoint a single 1st Tier MRO contractor to supply all consumable spares across all Business Units.
