Woolley South Bridge is orientated East to West and carries the A61 Barnsley Road over an area of stagnant water. Woolley is located to the West and Notton to the East. The bridge comprises a Stone arch with stone abutments, wingwalls and parapets. The arch barrel is heavily stained with visible wet areas. There is also loss of mortar and cracking to various areas of the structure. Vegetation growth is present to the wingwalls, with the East parapet wall completely covered by ivy.
