Overview
Kent County Council (KCC), as the Waste Disposal Authority, currently manages the receipt and processing of approximately 25,000 tonnes per annum of Wood Waste deposited at Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs). KCC requires new supply arrangements for the processing and disposal of HWRC wood waste with the new services commencing on 15th November 2026. Through its contracts with third-party waste transfer providers, KCC will deliver this material to the provider’s waste processing facility.
