Overview
Following an Army Basing Review undertaken by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in March 2003, it has been decided by the MOD that the Brigade Headquarters of the British Army Reaction Force is to be relocated to the Salisbury Plain Training Area with three Armoured Infantry Brigades. As a consequence, an additional 4,000 military personnel and their families will be relocated to Tidworth, Ludgershall, Bulford and Larkhill. This process has already started and is due to be completed in circa 2019.
