West Berkshire District Council, Bracknell Forest Borough Council, Reading Borough Council, The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Slough Borough Council and Wokingham Borough Council (the Berkshire Consortium) have agreed to work together on the procurement and management of a Road Weather Forecast and Information Service. The Contractor will enter in to a contract with West Berkshire District Council as the Lead Authority.
