Scarborough Borough Council (SBC) is to construct a new Whitby Maritime Training Hub (WMTH) to support the maritime and marine sectors. The overall vision of the WMTH will be "to become a renowned centre of maritime/marine training and enterprise which strengthens and supports the local, regional, national and international maritime and marine sectors and embodies traditional and 21st century maritime culture."
