Overview
The Scope of Work Comprises the procurement, commissioning and handover of a two storey building comprising a four form entry junior school with associated access, car parking and playground facilities. The new 4FE school is intended to be built on and adjacent to existing playing fields bordered one side by a railway line. The Council has a statutory duty to provide school places for all children ages 5-16. The requirement for a new junior school at Wellington is due to exception demand for school places in the borough.
