Weed Control 2023-24

Newquay Town Council is looking to appoint a contractor to undertake weed killing of all highways in the Parish. The work consists of using appropriate weed-killing methods either repellant chemicals, mechanical weeding or a suitable organic alternative and to apply those methods to all the roads identified by Newquay Town Council for the purposes of reducing the number of weeds on said roads. Where access is restricted by vehicles or other obstacles, the contractor must ensure these areas are treated by other means i.e. knapsack/manual weeding or returning to site on alternative date.
