WCC Weather forecasting services for winter maintenance

WCC is seeking to produce a specification for a weather forecaster which integrates with our 6 Vaisala weather stations and receive data from the 4 additional sensors to help refine the weather forecast. We are looking at a more efficient method of treatment than a one out all out approach to reduce operating costs for the service and reduce carbon emissions. The weather forecast data needs to be delivered in a format that is accessible 24/7 by the decision makers, we also may have questions around the forecast, especially during snow events, so any forecaster would need to be contactable 24/7 during the winter season.
