Overview

Warwickshire County Council is seeking to commission a single provider to develop and implement a comprehensive Singing for Lung Health programme for adults with chronic respiratory conditions. This will consist of courses of group-based sessions led by an experienced singing specialist. In Warwickshire, the under 75 mortality rate from respiratory disease was 29 per 100,000 in 2016-18. However, there is significant variation across the county, where Nuneaton and Bedworth have significantly higher premature mortality rates than the national average (44 per 100,000).
