Overview

The provision of a craft to fulfil the roles of both safety cover for crews working on or near water and casualty rescue. The craft is expected to operate in restricted areas and must be designed to be easily manoeuverable. It will also operate in river areas with high levels of floating and submerged debris, the hull must therefore be of robust construction and be equipped with protective devices designed to minimise damage. In addition it must comply with all relevant legislative and health and safety requirements pertaining to the class of marine craft (CE category C).
