Overview
Waste composition analysis of kerbside blue, brown and green bins from 250 East Riding households. To be carried out in two phases - Spring and Autumn, in order to understand the contents of all bins for each socio demographic profile and for East Riding as a whole weighted by profile. Results will also provide food, garden and recycling capture rates, total percentage of material that could have been diverted at the kerbside and data on specific waste materials impacted by Simpler Recycling, DRS and EPR legislation as well as fossilised carbon. Results will be shared in a report at the end of the two phases, with individual datasets provided for each phase.
