Overview

The GMC’s current WAN/Internet access agreement comes to an end in January 2023. We are therefore inviting bids from suppliers who can meet the requirements. There are currently 7 sites on the WAN solution with 4 of those sites offering full resiliency and 2 Internet Access circuits in the main Data Centres in Manchester and London. The current GMC WAN adopts Ethernet technology and the strategic roadmap indicates that we do not currently intend to change this technology for the duration of this contract.
