DWP have decided to re-platform its VME applications to VME-R using Microfocus COBOL as the platform to run its VME-R services. In order to achieve this DWP need a supplier who is:- Capable of modernising the VME COBOL to Microfocus COBOL language including both database and data conversion; and Has the ability to modernise VME via the use of Automated Tooling enabling a lift and shift approach to re-platforming.
