Overview

Throughout the course of operational policing duties CNC officers are required to carry out mobile policing patrols in a variety of operational police vehicles. These patrols are carried out both within the confines of civil nuclear sites and externally within the home office policing arena. There is a requirement for the provision of vehicle mounted gun box which has the capacity to securely accommodate all weapons and ammunition deployed by the CNC. In addition to the main gun box there will be a requirement for the provision of secure carriage of additional specialist weapons in a limited number of vehicles.
