Universal Testing Machine - ORE/24/072

ORE Catapult Materials Laboratory, located at the Charles Parsons Technology Centre at High Quay, Blyth has a requirement for purchasing a new dynamic Universal Test Machine ("UTM") to meet increasing demand from customers. There are current and future planned demands for testing subsea cable manufacturer's cable sheath material samples in fatigue life at increasing loads which are currently outside the capability and availability of the current test machines held in the laboratory such as the benchtop DMA 850.
