Overview
CEH are continually seeking to improve the security of our IT infrastructure. As part of this ongoing programme we are looking to remove administrator privileges from desktop user accounts and to further control the installation of applications and executable programs to prevent installation of ‘zero day’ malware and other unwanted software. CEH staff use a large number of applications ranging from standard office suites to specialist scientific software and user compiled executables.
