Overview

Call off from Serapis Framework, Task S30 Deployed force elements use wide band (X and Mil Ka) data services as well as UHF TACSAT for low data rate and voice SATCOM. It would be attractive if user TACSAT needs could be met by other technologies rather than UHF. This would increase flexibility and utilisation allowing TACSAT and wideband services to be dynamically managed to meet user's needs.
