Overview
It is intended the service for tree maintenance will be procured this year with a contract go-live summer/autumn 2023. The Council is considering a 5 year contract with a 2 year extension option. There are approximately 20,000 street trees, an additional 3,000 trees on Housing land and over 250,000 trees in our parks and open spaces. This contract is to ensure that these trees are safe and are managed and maintained to a high standard. The Councils vision is for a Borough that is clean, safe and where residents are proud to live.
