Training to Provide a Trauma Informed Practice Programme

The training will introduce staff to trauma and an understanding of how early life adversity and trauma are often significant anchors that hold some children in disadvantage, marginalised and disaffection settings which purportedly predisposes them to risky behaviour, offending behaviour and exploitation. The trauma informed approach to the proposed programme intends to enlighten the children and young people on the underlying factors that drive their behaviour, internal working model, and how the CYP can modify their behaviour.
