Overview
The Satellite Applications Catapult is seeking a suitable provider to develop its existing Vicon motion tracking system. The aim is to integrate the existing system into the Catapult’s robot systems via ROS nodes to allow near real-time updating of programmed positions and trajectories. It is expected that this would be a closed loop where the reported position is analysed against intended & commands sent to the robots adjusting their position. The existing system consist of 34 Vicon Vero 2.2 cameras and Vicon Tracker v 1.1.0 software.
