Overview
A two year contract for the management and servicing of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services at The Sill National Landscape Discovery Centre, Military Road, Bardon Mill, Northumberland, NE7 6NN. The Sill is a new visitor attraction that opens on the 29th July 2017 and is adjacent to Hadrian's Wall. The building is a visitor centre with exhibition space, cafe, conference rooms, retail, youth hostel and toilets. Based in a rural location it has mains electricity and water, an LPG gas supply, solar panels and an onsite sewage treatment plant. The internal floor area is 2,655 square metres. Annual visitors are expected to be 100,000 to 120,000 a year.
