Technical Information Technology Training Service

The Council intends to procure in advance, technical training days for technical team members within the Information Services function of the Council, from a single provider. This will enable the Council to pre plan with a flexible approach, the training for staff over the next year and not have to schedule and procure each individual requirement on an ad hoc basis. It is anticipated that another benefit to the Council will be from discounted prices by committing in advance and in bulk, without committing to specific training dates. Training is required to keep pace with changes in technology and to ensure that staff have the relevant skills to support core applications.
