Overview

Historic England delivers an Information Management and Technology (IMT) shared service to HE itself and also to the charity The English Heritage Trust. Prior to this date, both organisations were part of a single body, known as English Heritage. A significant proportion of the IMT services are currently outsourced to an external provider whose contract ends on 31 January 2017 and cannot be extended further. New arrangements are being put in place to enable new services to be delivered from 1 February 2017.
