Overview

Derby City Council ('the Council') is procuring a new contract for the processing of dry mixed recyclables (DMR). The Council requires a contractor to provide a Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) for the receipt and processing of DMR, and associated services such as marketing of the output materials. The contract will comprise a three-year initial term, commencing on 1st April 2020, with two possible extensions, each of one-year duration (3+1+1). It is anticipated that the Council will require sorting capacity for approximately 20,000 tonnes per annum of DMR.
