Overview
SAP is Manchester City Council's ERP system. It was implemented a number of years ago and utilises a clustered DB2 environment. The system supports the Council's business processes across a number of areas including Finance, Procurement and HR. The SAP support staff are in-house and are split across Shared Services, PRI and ICT. The majority of the support staff are located within the ICT structure. The requirements of this tender exercise relate solely to those staff within ICT - 12 staff members, including 2 degree apprentices.
