The Council are looking to procure Mortuary and Post Mortem Services for HM Coroner It is the intention of the Manchester City Council to arrange a framework agreement with a single contractor for the above services. Post Mortem facilities and provision for viewing must be sited within HM Coroner (City) Manchester's jurisdiction ie MCC city boundaries or a neighbouring Coronial District. The H M Coroner has sole discretion as to where bodies are transferred and Post Mortems take place. Additional information: The Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest.
