The minor highway framework is to support Highways Maintenance Service with minor Civil Engineering projects The purpose of this procurement exercise is to appoint a number of contractors under a Framework Agreement for Civil Engineering Construction Support Works across Manchester, the principle contractor for the Works will be Highways Maintenance Service (Manchester City's own in-house Highways maintenance and construction service) and we will utilise this framework to supplement our own resources, as and when required, subject to the needs of our varied pipeline of works.
