T827 Library Level 2 Refurbishment

The University of Essex is seeking tenders for the provision of the Albert Sloman 2nd floor refurbishment project in accordance with this Invitation to Tender and the attached documents. The south wing of the Albert Sloman library is very gloomy and shabby with crowded shelves and a lack of light in comparison to it's newer library extension counrterpart. The original 1960's infrastructure provided little power to study spaces, something which has been improved slightly in recent years, but there is still a huge demand for more power points to enable students to use their laptops and other devices in the Library.
