Overview

Following successful trials of stopped vehicle detection (SVD) on two sections of the M25 (on the southern sector, J5-6; and on the northern sector, J23-27) Highways England now requires a similar system to be installed on the M3 J2-4a. The project will be designed and delivered by the Area Service Contractor (ASC) for Area 3. Alongside this, Highways England is seeking a Consultant to provide specialist, SVD related technical services to the project and this is the brief for that activity.
