Overview
Denbighshire County Council (DCC) are seeking to employ a suitable consultant to prepare an Outline Business Case (OBC) for urban catchment management solutions at surface water flooding areas (sites) in Rhyl and Prestatyn. Sustainable drainage solutions should be identified wherever possible. The sites will be identified through engagement with key stakeholders such as DCC, Natural Resources Wales (NRW), North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent (NMWTRA), Network Rail and Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW). An initial long list of sites will be developed, before preparing a short list of priority sites to be subject to further appraisal and inclusion in the OBC.
