Overview
The Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 introduced requirements on local authorities to plan for looked after children so that they have the support they need as they make the transition from care to adulthood. This has led to an increased number of Young People eligible for assistance and a greater demand for accommodation and services to support Young People into independence. The aim of this Contract is to secure good quality supported accommodation services in Cambridgeshire. The successful Providers will provide accommodation and support to Young People aged between 16 and 18 years old who are referred by the Council.
