Overview
To carry out specialist CCTV Surveys to 23 structures (Bridges & Culverts) around the Wigan Borough in accordance with the performance specification and works information pack. The Authority considers all the sites to be confined spaces. The inspections will require either Pan & Tilt CCTV crawler unit or Man Entry methods or a combination of both (some sites are walk-through, some of which have restricted freeboard and others are CCTV crawler unit only). In all cases a remote-control unit with viewing station is required to enable Council officers to supervise the operations.
