Overview
Basildon Borough Council (the Council) are wishing to appoint a contractor to provide the maintenance and testing of their lighting stock across the borough. Currently the Council have in the order of 2000 lighting units which are comprised of 800 columns and 1200 bracket or direct to wall/ceiling fittings. There has been a programme over the last few years to convert to LED which it is wished to be carried on. It will be for the contractor to supply the LED units for all types of fitting. It will also be the supplier's responsibility to provide all parts, labours, and plant regardless of unit type.
