Overview

HMRC intend to award a concession contract to a single supplier for the United Kingdom's tobacco tracking and tracing system under the World Health Organization Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products. The UK is currently part of an EU-wide system and the supplier will provide all services required for a national system following the end of the Transition Period. The services will enable the continued tracking and tracing of tobacco products manufactured in or imported into the UK.
