SNOW Software Asset Management Service

The strategic context of this initiative is to ensure that the GMC maintains a robust compliance position with regards to software licence management, regardless of vendor, or software delivery method, i.e. on premise, cloud services and SaaS (software as a service) subscription-based services. The GMC's evolving technology landscape is becoming more diverse and hybridised with growing consumption of cloud and SaaS subscription software and services, and the Senior Management team have authorised the procurement and implementation of a hosted SAM (Software Asset Management) service in order to reduce and mitigate any licence related risks to the organisation.
